Origin

Four tendons of flexor digitorum profundus. Radial 2: radial side only (unipennate). Ulnar 2: cleft between tendons( bipennate)

Action

Flex MCP jnts and extend IP jnts of fingers

Insertion

Extensor expansion (dorsum of prox phalanx ) of fingers 2-5 radial side

Nerve

Lat 2: median N (C8, T1). Med 2: deep br of ulnar N (C8, T1)
