Origin

Upper post surface of ulna & middle third of post surface of radius & interosseous membrane between

Action

Abducts & extends thumb at CMC jnt

Insertion

Over tendons of radial extensors & brachioradialis to base of 1st MC & trapezium

Nerve

Post interosseous N (C6, 7)
