Origin

Lower third of post shaft of radius and adjacent interosseous membrane

Action

Extends MCP jnt of thumb

Insertion

Over tendons of radial extensors and brachioradialis to base of prox phalanx of thumb

Nerve

Post interosseous N (C7, 8)
