DORSAL INTEROSSEI

Origin

Bipennate from inner aspects of shafts of all MCs

Action

Abduct from axis of middle finger. Flex MCP jnt whilst extending IP jnts

Insertion

Prox phalanges and dorsal extensor expansion on radial side of index and middle fingers and ulnar side of middle and ring fingers

Nerve

Deep br of ulnar N (T1)
